Yesterday was a NSD for me (yay! I like those) and I think if I scrounge my cabinets and a batch or two of muffins (PB&J as lunch or the kids) and blueberry for breakfast I can make it two NSDs. This AM it was toast, bananas, and apple sauce for the school age kids and bagels/cream cheese for lunch. I have definitely worked on my bread and lunchmeat sandwich philosophy, as well as trying to do away with crap cereal for breakfast. And I'm noticing it is cheaper!
And tonight it is House Hopeful's meatloaf muffins - which my kids LOVE!
Two NSDs in a row? Menu options for kids!

I have been been making PB&J Muffins (easy recipe on the flour bag), bagels and cream cheese, I buy a huge chunk of cheese and slice into snack size - I will send this will diced ham (I've been buying bone-in spiral cut ham and getting one Sunday dinner out of it, use the left overs for lunches), I have also been sending salads for my one daughter who loves greens, and I have sent sliced grilled chicken with ranch dipping sauce. I always send the lunches in insulated bags with the freezer packs and everything has stayed cold. Also pasta salad for my other daughter.

And Mom-Sense, I take pasta salad for lunch. A little bit of pasta and a LOT of veggies can be pretty healthy & good
